Reed worked on a number of TV series in the 1980s, including Nurse and Hunter. Raymond Burr Vineyards was continually owned by Benevides after Burrs death in 1993, until he sold the vineyards in 2017. In 1969, Reed was cast as quintessential family man Mike Brady on the enduring sitcom The Brady Bunch. O'Connor had been severely wounded (Benavidez had believed him dead), and he was evacuated to the United States before his superiors could fully debrief him.
