He is survived by his wife Helen Counts, whom he married on July 11, 1959, of Lufkin; daughter Georgia Sayers & husband Randy of Jasper; brother James Jimmy Counts & wife Cindy of Lufkin; sister Myrna Dennis; grandchildren Blake Sayers, Mallari Schilder, Bryant Plemmons, Zachary Counts, Nickie Counts & Nathan Counts; as well as a great granddaughter Sophia Sayers. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and loved woodworking and the outdoors. She worked as a phone operator for Southwestern Bell for over 20 years. After eating many cheeseburgers and fries for almost 2 years, Barbara made it to 98 pounds. Denise Ann Ford Spencer, 83, of Woodville passed away on June 21, 2020.
