Buffalo Fork fly After breakfast, you and your guide ride up the trails on horseback for a full day of fly fishing. Although there is a fair amount of private land bordering the Buffalo, there is some really great fishing for the angler who wishes to go for a good hike. The campground is adjacent to a beautiful mountain meadow that provides views of the surrounding mountains as well as opportunities for wildlife viewing (we saw moose when we camped here). Our guided fishing adventures offer anglers the chance to cast in the Buffalo Fork River, Pacific Creek, Spread Creek, and Blackrock Creek. This fly is tied in a wide variety of colors, but an orange belly/tan foam is a personal favorite. Some of the finest trout fishing in the entire United States is found in the Northwestern quarter of Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park.
